It is also popular with individuals wishing to avoid fatigue or for those with a need or desire to stay alert for long periods of time.

Adrafinil (Olmifon) has the ability to stimulate only when stimulation is required and it should not affect normal sleep patterns (unless over dosing has occurred). It has been designed to treat narcolepsy, hypersomnia and catoplexy.

Age old stimulants like caffeine, amphetamines, cocaine or guarana can offer a short term fix to ward off tiredness but their boost to the brain is short-lived. A normal daily dose of Adrafinil (Olmifon) is one or two 300mg tablets depending on the condition being treated. Do not use continuously without liver enzyme blood tests.
